Tips for Las Vegas Hotel Weddings

Las Vegas hotel weddings are by far the most popular wedding option in this great city. Many people think of saying their vows in an old shack when they consider a wedding in Las Vegas however this is far from reality for most couples. You can have a completely exotic and spectacular wedding in a Las Vegas hotel/casino. The only limit will be your imagination and your budget, with many weddings costing many thousands of dollars if you choose to take up the high class options. Alternatively you can hold Las Vegas hotel weddings on a smaller budget.

Some of the large Las Vegas hotels and casinos that offer weddings are:

MGM Grand
Four Seasons
Venetian
Bellagio
Mandalay Bay
Treasure Island
Excalibur
Caesars Palace
Flamingo Hotel

All of the above hotels are considered some of the best in Vegas and as such have lovely wedding facilities. The Caesars Palace wedding venue has three outdoor choices. There is a garden, fountain and pond to provide beautiful backdrops. The Bellagio offers an outdoor two level terrace with a great view of the lake and fountains. Then there is the often looked past Flamingo Hotel with its whopping five outdoor wedding spots to choose from, some with waterfalls!

The great thing about a hotel wedding is that you generally stay at the same place where you have your wedding, eliminating the need for after-wedding transport. You can save considerably amounts of money here.

Most hotel/casino weddings will take care of specifics for you if you ask them to. Alternatively you may wish to organise most of your wedding yourself. If that is the case you will need to consider the following:

Indoor or Outdoor - Most hotels and casinos offer both indoor and outdoor chapels and reception venues.

Weather - If you have an outdoor wedding plan it for a mild time of year. Las Vegas gets prohibitably hot in summer so spring time is usually a better choice.

Witnesses - Some hotels and chapels provide a witness, particularly if you are having a very small wedding. Otherwise you may choose your own witnesses.

The Official/Minister - Will you use a priest or celebrant? A minister is provided in most chapels and hotels for either a religious or civil ceremony but keep in mind you may not be able to bring your own minister.

Number of Guests - Most hotels can cater for small and large parties but enquiry in advance so that you pick a venue to meet your required numbers.

Las Vegas outdoor wedding locations provide an excellent backdrop to your special day. What better place to spend the most romantic and important day of your life than amongst the sights and sounds of wonderful Las Vegas?  Las Vegas is often called the wedding capital of the world due to the sheer number of people who get married here every year - it is estimated around 100,000 couples tie the knot in Las Vegas each year and this number is rising. So what is the big attraction to Las Vegas outdoor weddings and where are the best spots to go? This article will point you in the right direction.

There is no doubt that many people get married in wedding chapels in Las Vegas but what about those who prefer an outdoor wedding? As you would expect there are countless outdoor locations for a wedding here with some chapels particularly set up in the outdoors. These outdoor wedding spots are often designed with lush flowers and gardening, beautiful waterfalls and all the other spectacular ideas that you would expect from a city that doesn’t do anything half hearted.

One such wedding chapel is the Little Chapel of the Flowers. This company has a beautiful outdoor garden with a bridge, waterfall and gazebo. You will certainly forget you are in Vegas while you are there! The Chapel of Love is another well respected chapel in Las Vegas and they offer a lovely outdoor gazebo with cute twinkling lights.

There are a number of golf courses in Las Vegas that make a wonderful wedding location and backdrop. There is usually fantastic, vast scenery, beautiful landscaping all with the wonderful Las Vegas skyline and mountains in the background. The best time for a wedding here is at dusk where the sun is setting, providing a wonderful array of colors and shadows.

Many of the hotel casinos hold outdoor weddings too. Caesars Palace has 3 outdoor wedding locations, The Flamingo Hotel has give, The Bellagio provides a two level outdoor wedding site and the Paris Hotel have a beautiful poolside wedding on their rooftop offering unmatched views of Las Vegas and beyond.

When people think of weddings in Las Vegas they often think of a drab office with an uninterested celebrant behind the desk but this is rarely the case. Las Vegas outdoor wedding providers can make your Las Vegas wedding just as good, if not better, than a wedding held anywhere else in the world.
